DAY 01:- ARRIVAL JAMMU || JAMMU – KATRA

Welcome to Jammu, the winter capital of the union territory of Jammu and Kashmir. On arrival, you will be greeted by a Roam N Trip representative/driver and transferred to Katra (55km Approx. 2 Hour Driver), the base point of Vaishnodevi. Arrive in Katra and check into your hotel. Rest of the evening will be free for leisure. Overnight stay in a hotel at Katra.

DAY 02:- MATA VAISHNODEVI DARSHAN

Start the 2nd day of your Vaishno Devi tour with breakfast, then proceed to Mata Vaishno Devi Bhawan- one of the most popular pilgrimages of India situated in Trikuta Hills. Yatra involves a trek of nearly 14 Kms from Ban Ganga Bridge in Katra. An alternate way to perform darshans is by battery operated cars, ponies/palkis/helicopters (at your own cost) .If time permits, visit Ardhkuwari & Bhairon Temple. Now a ropeway connects Vaishno Devi Bhavan to Bhairon Temple. After visiting the temples, return to the hotel in Katra and relax in your hotel.

DAY 03:- ON TO SRINAGAR || KATRA – SRINAGAR

Following breakfast in katra hotel &check-out from hotel and drive to Srinagar (Valley of Lake’s, The distance of about 241 kms will be covered in about 6 hrs. Enroute through the Chenani Nashri Tunnel (Asia’s longest road tunnel) Jawahar Tunnel, Banihal, Rambhan, Kud. Arrive Srinagar transfer to hotel. Evening bridle walks and feed your cameras with the picture of magnificent view of Dal Lake. Night stay at hotel in Srinagar.

DAY 04:- SRINAGAR LOCAL SIGHTSEEING

Proceed on a city tour visiting the Shankaracharya temple situated on the highest hill of Srinagar, the famous Mughal Gardens-Cheshmashahi, Nishat & Shalimar, Hazratbal Shrine. These gardens were Mughal Emperors’ concept of Paradise and today these are popular picnic spots. Also visit a handicraft shop where you can purchase local Hand Crafted items-Shawls, Jackets, Bed Covers, Paper Mache, Carpets & much more! In the evening leisurely stroll alongside Dal Lake exploring the local markets. Return to the Hotel in the evening and enjoy a comfortable overnight stay.

DAY 05:- ON TO SONAMARG DAY TRIP|| SRINAGAR – SONAMARG

In the morning a warm cup of tea with delicious breakfast at the hotel should get you ready for the day of activity. head toward Sonamarg. Sonamarg (90kms/Approx 03 hours drive one way). The drive is not very hectic as the scenic views will keep you occupied throughout the way. Upon your arrival to Sonamarg transferred to hotel after check-in at hotel, Proceed Majestic peaks in the backdrop, colourful flower-laden meadows makes this hill station a must-visit . You can opt for a pony ride to visit Thaijiwas Glaciers or by union cab (at your own cost) where snow remains round the year. Following this wonderful experience till evening, I drove back to Srinagar for overnight stay at Houseboat in Dal Lake.

DAY 06:- ON TO GULMARG || SRINAGAR – GULMARG

Following breakfast in Houseboat, head toward the enchanting valleys of Srinagar to Gulmarg. (62 km / Approx 2 Hours Drive- One Way) Known for its beauty and charm, and popularly known as the Meadow of Flowers, this place needs to be explored to truly experience its beauty. When here, take the famous Gulmarg gondola cable car, ride Gulmarg to Kongdori to Apharwat (at your own cost), or embark on a short trek to Khilanmarg. Go on mountain rides and walk around. Night Stay At Hotel in Gulmarg.

DAY 07:- ON TO PAHALGAM || GULMARG – PAHALGAM

Early in the morning leave for Pahalgam (90 Km / Approx. 2 Hour Drive – One Way)Enjoy this mesmerising drive through the scenic trails that connects Gulmarg and Pahalgam. While en route, you might even get the opportunity to visit the saffron fields around En route visit the Awantipura ruins, an 1100 year old temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu and built by King Awantivarman. On arrival into Pahalgam enjoy the surrounding beauty or walk to Baisaren, which is about 2 km from Pahalgam. A small village set in pine and fir forest is pleasing and offers a good view. Night stay at a hotel in pahalgam.

DAY 08:- Return Home with Happy Memories

After breakfast transfer to Jammu Airport / Railway Station to board your flights with Everlasting Memories of Roam N Trip.
